A Message from Nationwide Private Client President Paul VanDenBosch about the Coronavirus

We’re all experiencing changes in our lives that we could never have imagined, and it’s becoming clear that it will continue to be challenging to predict what’s ahead for the next several weeks or months.

I want to take a moment to update you on what Nationwide Private Client is doing to lessen the burden for clients and agency partners. While we will always comply with legal and regulatory orders, we are taking the following additional steps:

  • If you’ve experienced hardship due to COVID-19, we can suspend the cancellation of some policies, defer payment deadlines, and waive some late fees. Clients can contact our Customer Solutions Center at 1-855-473-6410 Monday-Friday 7am – 8pm CT.
  • Claims reporting continues to be available around the clock. We will continue to process claims in a way that keeps both our customers and associates safe. As with any situation, Nationwide Private Client will continue to carefully review every claim submitted by customers on an individual basis. For specific questions, please contact your claims representative at 1-855-473-6410.
  • For the fastest service 24/7, we encourage you to sign up for online account access on our Policyholder Portal. To take advantage of online account management tools, including electronic payment options, visit connect.nationwideprivateclient.com.
  • To support you during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are offering a one-time premium credit of $50 per policy for personal auto policies active as of March 31, 2020. You don’t need to do anything. Credits will automatically be applied to your billing account within the next 30 days. We are offering this rapid relief at a time when many drivers are making the right choice to stay off the road and remain home to help “flatten the curve.”
