Nationwide Private Client and Shepherd Insurance Select The O’Connor House for Partners in Giving Donation
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Nationwide Private Client recently donated $7,500 to The O’Connor House as part of its Partners in Giving program from Nationwide Private Client in honor of Shepherd Insurance. This donation will help The O’Connor House provide important programming that assists young mothers in overcoming barriers to poverty.
Private Client is Nationwide's personal lines carrier focused on the affluent market. Its appointed independent agents are offered an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others with charitable donations in their local communities through the Partners in Giving program.
“Partners in Giving provides our agency partners with opportunities for us to make charitable donations on their behalf — helping them give back to the communities where they live and work,” stated Paul VanDenBosch, president, Nationwide Private Client. “This form of giving is foundational to our culture and integral to our success. It is a constant reminder that, in our efforts to serve our clients, we are also generating meaningful support for local communities.”
“Shepherd Insurance focuses our community giving on organizations that support families, so we were pleased to select The O’Connor House for this donation and contribute to their efforts to aid homeless women and their children,” said Pete Harrington, COO, Shepherd Insurance. “We are honored to participate in the Partners in Giving program.”
"We are humbled and grateful for this generous gift,” said Nancy Imhoff, development director of The O’Connor House. “This donation assists and supports The O'Connor House in our mission to transform lives and impact generations by empowering and equipping homeless, pregnant young women and helping them envision a brighter future.”
